Williamstown 1955 and 1956 Premiership player Alby Outen passed away this morning (24th November). Alby played 55 games and kicked 9 goals and was remembered as a top class back pocket who was prepared to run through a 'brick wall' for his team mates.
Former Premiership Captain Gerry 'the Monster' Callahan today remembered Alby for 'his electrifying dashes and he was always a sight to see when in full flight.'
Alby had battled illness for a considerable time and on behalf of the Williamstown Football Club we pass on our best wishes to his family.
